Secure exchange platform assists companies in transferring confidential information

Cloud hosting provider Cloudcontainers realised there was no simple and secure way to send private messages, documents or passwords to partners and business associates. To meet that need, the company is proud to introduce the secret exchange platform ‘sendyoursecret.today’. Cloudcontainers has now launched its free service, with no log in required – so everyone can easily use it.

sendyoursecret.today allows companies to send ‘secrets’ via a secure link. The difference with sendyoursecret.today is the end-to-end encryption and secret deletion after first access. The one-time link ensures that private information is not exposed in mail boxes in the long term. There’s also the added assurance that if the link is successfully received, the data hasn’t been viewed in transit. sendyoursecret’s strength is that although simple to use, it offers a major increase in day-to-day security.

Martijn Hengelmolen, owner of Cloudcontainers, explains how it works:

“Enter your secret, copy the link and mail it. The secret will be deleted when the link is opened. Everything, including the secret, is encrypted. The secret will not be compromised – even we do not know its content!”

The sendyoursecret.today premium account is for companies that need more capacity, control or customisation. Simply create a free account and after log in it is possible to send documents up to 250 MB. Companies can customise the look of the ‘reveal’ page and implement a custom domain, giving an appealingly seamless branded user experience. They can even incorporate it in their own platform. Other features are the monitoring of  ‘secret activity’ to get a clear overview of secrets that are sent and received and the activating of “Read receipts” to know exactly when someone opens files. With a premium account recalling a secret is just as easy.
